About Truro Town Fund
In June 2021, Truro was awarded £23.6 million from the Government’s £3.6 billion Towns Fund to bring a step-change in how we live, work and enjoy Truro.
This money will help us to future proof Truro whilst celebrating its unique character.
Drawing on the inspiration and insight from people who care passionately about Truro’s future, the team has developed seven projects that are set to transform our city and local economy.

In fact, it is believed that the name Truro comes from the Cornish word Tri-veru which means three rivers.
Truro’s a Cathedral city filled with the warmth and friendliness of a thriving market town. It’s home to lots of independent shops along with excellent restaurants and exciting cultural events.
