This privacy policy explains how the Truro Town Deal team will protect you and your data.

We are committed to ensuring your data and privacy is protected at all times.
When you use our website: you are agreeing to our privacy policy.

We will never pass on or sell your information to third parties not involved in the Truro Town Deal. Any third parties processing your data will do so within the confines of the Truro Town Deal, and it will never be used for any other reason. 

All your information is stored in the cloud, in a GDPR compliant way, it is never saved on individuals personal devices.

Lucy Jones, Towns Fund Lead for Truro is the Data Controller responsible for protecting your data. 

There are a number of third-party data processors who will have access to your data in order to make the project a success, including Agile PR & Communications Ltd and The Hammond Agency.

We gather this information to help us improve our website, deliver the Truro Town Deal proposal, and honour your requests.  We may:

  • Use this information to improve and inform the Truro Town Deal

Where we store your information

If you sign up for our newsletter we will store your name and email address in Mailchimp.
You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in the newsletter email. 

If you engage with us via email, social media, or in person we may create a profile for you in Hubspot, our CRM system. 

We use Google Analytics to improve our website and our content. All the data collected in Google Analytics is anonymised, and we cannot use it to identify individuals.


Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computers hard drive They record how you move on our website so when you come back to our site we can tailor options based on the information stored from your last visit.

We don’t use cookies to collect any personally identifiable information about you, without your permission.
